Kaya has had a camera in her hands since childhood, using it as a way to notice light, people, and the quiet details that often go unseen. This way of seeing was shaped by her mother, who found beauty in everything. Ojos de mi madre; “through my mother’s eyes” was born from that memory and perspective.
